I'd love to share more information about our Antimicrobial Film that is preventing the spread of bacteria, mold, mildew, and fungi on common touch counter surfaces, doorknobs, and etc. for all businesses. Golf Protective Equipment, LLC has an exclusive distributorship with Hexis on its new Pure Zone Antimicrobial Medical-Grade wrap film. 

Our Pure Zone wrap film is 60-μm(micrometers), our film is constructed out of a cast PVC laminate which contains antimicrobial agents and is coated with a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive. This medical grade film was developed as a first line of defense against the spread of microbial bacteria, mold, mildew, and fungi on public common touch surfaces. Pure Zone provides antimicrobial protection on surfaces in areas that require a high level of hygiene (hospitals, agribusinesses and food industries, wet rooms, public places, etc.). It can also be utilized in retail settings on door handles - pushes, handrails, railings, trash cans, counter tops, and other common touch surfaces.

Our Antimicrobial film is enriched with Silver Ions. Silver Ions are highly reactive and destroy multiple sites in bacteria cells. During cleaning operations, as well as in the presence of humidity, Silver Ions are released from the top layer of the film. These ions come into contact with the bacteria, blocking their metabolism and/or interrupting their proliferation mechanism, leading to their destruction and therefore reducing germs by 99.99%.

Reducing 99.99 % of bacteria ascertained for:

  • Escherichia coli
  • Salmonella (Salmonella enterica)
  • Listeria (Listeria monocytogenes)
  • Golden staph (Staphylococcus aureus)
  • Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)

 Antiviral activity on the Human coronavirus HCoV-229E strain (according to the ISO 21702 standard):

  • 94.99 % after a contact time of 15 min.,
  • 99.87 % after a contact time of 60 min.
